We maintain one of the most rigorous safety programs in the industry. Every shift begins with a daily safety talk, supported by weekly toolbox talks and participation in multi-industry safety stand-downs throughout the year. In addition, we conduct regular, unannounced safety inspections across all job sites.
When incidents or near-misses occur, we don’t overlook them — we analyze them thoroughly to identify root causes and implement improvements that keep our teams and clients safe.

At PennUnion, safety is more than compliance — it’s a commitment. Every member of our team holds an OSHA 30 certification and regularly participates in comprehensive safety training, including site-specific instruction, CPR, One Call, and specialized programs from leading fence manufacturers.
Our safety leadership includes a dedicated Safety Director and team members qualified in HSE, HSEQ, and HSSE standards, supported by experienced Superintendents and Foremen on every job site.
We conduct daily on-site assessments — including JHAs (Job Hazard Analyses), JSAs (Job Safety Analyses), and AHAs (Activity Hazard Analyses) — alongside established SOPs to proactively identify and mitigate risks before work begins.
